Measures maintained by Clinica Longeva after the WHO has declared the end of the Covid-19 pandemic | Highlight | Clinica Longeva

It was with great hope that we received the World Health Organization's declaration announcing the end of the Covid-19 pandemic as a global health emergency.

However, as stated by the organization's Director-General following that declaration, "this does not mean that Covid-19 has ceased to be a global threat to health."

Although some of the measures provided for in the Contingency Plan for the Covid-19 pandemic are no longer necessary, others have proven to be beneficial for the safety and proper functioning of Clinic Longeva.

In this regard, the following measures and access rules will be maintained and incorporated into the normal operation of the Clinic:

1 - Control of the number of people simultaneously:
. Only one Companion per Patient is allowed access to the clinic's facilities, with a larger number of Companions subject to prior authorization.
. The Patient should not enter the clinic more than 25 minutes before their scheduled appointment.

2 - Use of face masks:
. The use of face masks is mandatory when presenting symptoms suggestive of respiratory infection, and their use may be requested by any healthcare professional of Clinica Longeva.
. If the Patient and/or their Companion do not have a mask and its use is requested, the Clinic will provide the necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

3 - Hand sanitization with alcohol-based solution:
. Hand sanitization is recommended upon entering and exiting the clinic, and hand sanitizer dispensers are available at the reception counter for this purpose.

4 - Respiratory etiquette:
. When sneezing or coughing, always turn your head away from others and cover your mouth and nose with a tissue. If you don't have a tissue, sneeze or cough into your upper sleeve or crook of your elbow, not your hands.
