The first scientific article carried out at SCI, Centro de Urologia / Clinica Longeva, entitled "Low-intensity shock wave therapy for erectyle dysfunction and the influence of disease duration" by the author Dr. Pedro Oliveira and coauthors Dr. Tiago Oliveira, Dr. Álvaro Nunes, Dr. Francisco Martins and Dr. Tomé Lopes, was published in a journal indexed by Medline/Pubmed.

This publication, based on the clinical cases treated at SCI, Centro de Urologia, demonstrates the efficiency of shock wave treatment of patients with Erectile Dysfunction regardless of disease duration.

Because od the scientific interest it generated, it was selected for dissemination in the renowned international Urology community UroToday.
