Scrotal doppler ultrasound Ultrasound to the scrotum with vascularization evaluation

The scrotal ecodoppler is a non-invasive and painless image exam, in which ultrasound is used to characterize the structures present in the scrotum, namely the scrotum bags, the testicles, the epididymides and the spermatic cords.

It differs from the scrotal ultrasound because of the associated Doppler study, which allows the assessment of blood flow in the testicles and other structures, and thus better characterizes nodules, the presence of varicocele, orchidididymitis and emergent situations such as torsion of the spermatic cord.

This exam does not require any previous preparation and will always be performed by an Urologist with experience in the diagnosis and treatment of scrotal pathologies, which gives him greater sensitivity for its correct description.
