The Southside of Urology symposium was held between 26 and 29 October 2019, with the aim of providing an update to health professionals in the most varied areas on the diagnosis and treatment of urological pathology.

As a guest speaker, Dr. Tiago Oliveira presented, together with Dr. José Dias, the topic of metastatic prostate cancer, having discussed the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of oligometastatic prostate cancer, castration-resistant non-metastatic prostate and castration-resistant metastatic prostate cancer.

It was a presentation that made use of several exemplary clinical cases, in which the participation of the audience occurred at different times, in the form of question and answer, which allowed for an intervention of great value and dynamism, leading to multidisciplinary discussions.
