Scientific paper presented at the ICS-EUS 2025 Congress | Scientific Activity | Dr. Ricardo Pereira e Silva - Dr. Andre Ye

Between September 17 and 20, the Annual Meeting of the International Continence Society and the Emirates Urological Society took place in Abu Dhabi, where Dr. André Ye presented an innovative scientific study coordinated by Dr. Ricardo Pereira e Silva. The study explores transcutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (TTNS) as part of a multimodal approach to treating overactive bladder syndrome.

The clinical data proved highly promising, especially when TTNS is combined with other therapeutic modalities, reinforcing the value of a personalized, patient-centered strategy. This work makes a significant contribution to strengthening the scientific evidence supporting the efficacy of treatments for overactive bladder syndrome, a condition that affects millions of people worldwide.

Due to its scientific quality and clinical impact, the study was selected for a Podium Session — a space reserved for the most outstanding research presented at the congress.
