Together with his colleague Dr. Matthew Ziegelmann from the Mayo Clinic (USA), Dr. Pedro Oliveira published an important review on the literature of the treatment of vasculogenic erectile dysfunction with low intensity shock wave therapy.

This study concludes that the existing literature recognizes a considerable potential of this therapy in the treatment of patients with moderate vasculogenic erectile dysfunction, as well as a complementary therapy that enhances other therapeutics.
