It is a publication that comes from the collaboration with the University of Leuven Hospital Urology Service, one of the most prestigious international urological centers, with the aim of analyzing access and experience in laparoscopic surgery in several international training programs in Urology.


The study shows that, although the laparoscopic approach is recommended in the most varied urological pathologies (both malignant and benign) and is very often the technique of choice for many clinical cases, experience in laparoscopic surgery is still not accessible to all professionals throughout their urology training, given the considerable learning curve of the technique and the need for a large investment regarding technical differentiation,
