A group of urologists from Clinica Longeva, namely Dr. Ricardo Pereira e Silva, Dr. José Palma dos Reis, Dr. Paulo Pé Leve, Dr. André Ye, Dr. Miguel Miranda, and Dr. Filipe Abadesso Lopes, have published a scientific study demonstrating the effectiveness of immunoprophylaxis with the MV140 vaccine in reducing urinary tract infections.

The results are extremely promising and show that prophylactic immunotherapy with the MV140 vaccine can substantially reduce the incidence of urinary tract infections in patients suffering from recurrent UTIs, as well as lessen the severity of symptoms when a urinary tract infection does occur.
