Low intensity shock wave tratment for chronic prostatitis Treatment of chronic prostatic inflammation

The use of low-intensity shock waves in the treatment of chronic prostatic inflammation has shown promising results, with improvement in the various symptoms presented and demonstrating a high degree of satisfaction of treated patients.

Due to their anti-inflammatory effect, smooth muscle relaxation and neovascularization induction, low-intensity shockwaves can be used in patients with chronic abacterial prostatitis who do not respond to empirical therapy, or as an adjunct treatment.

This treatment will always be performed by a Urologist subspecialized in Andrology.
