Renal ultrasound Ultrasound to kidneys

It is an examination that allows you to get a lot of information about the kidney without any pain or discomfort. It is simple, fast and non-invasive. It allows the evaluation of multiple morphological and functional pathologies, such as tumors, infections, lithiasis, excretory dilations, hematomas, congenital abnormalities, atrophies, ectopies, among others.

When necessary, a complementary Ecodoppler study of the kidney will be carried out, which allows to obtain information on the blood supply of the kidney, which correlates with its function and possible systemic diseases.

This test is performed in the lying position, with a probe that abuts the skin in the abdominal and lumbar regions, where an innocuous gel has been previously applied.

It will always be performed by a Urologist doctor experienced not only in renal imaging, but also in the medical and surgical treatment of kidney diseases, which gives him the best sensitivity for the correct evaluation of this organ.
